The Challenge

Zuraidah had run her pharmacy for seven years but felt she was working harder for less return each year. She could not identify clearly where the margin was going and was uncertain whether to bring on additional staff or reduce hours.

What We Did

Through the Tending Partnership, we spent the first two months mapping her revenue by product category and customer segment. By month three, it was clear that two product lines were consuming shelf space and staff time without meaningful contribution to the bottom line.

What Changed

Zuraidah removed the underperforming lines, reduced her opening hours on two slow days, and used the freed capacity to develop a simple repeat-prescription reminder service. Within two quarters, her revenue per working hour improved noticeably.

What Changed

Rather than a second workspace, Iskandar brought on a skilled part-time joiner during peak months and declined a category of lower-margin orders. He has since signed his first two commercial contracts, which give him more predictable volume to plan around.
